Ladystein: Live from the Vatican Catacombs

Hey y'all:

So here's a little known fact: the Ladystein ladies actually met in Italy! I know you may not believe it, but it's true. And one fateful art history trip to Rome brought them right to the bowels of the Vatican -- into the dark recesses of the catacombs. Few have had this opportunity, and most are probably better for it. Catacombs are creepy. Ladystein was also granted access to the area right below St. Peter's where the Pope has now been layed to rest. Believe it or not, that place looks like a suburban Long Island hospital. No, but really. I don't care what they say: that tile looks like linoleum. Trust us on this one.
So we want to thank everyone (yes, all of you who actually came out to Brooklyn to support us. ALL of you) for coming to see us at Galapagos on Wednesday. It might have been the best Ladystein show yet, due to the fantastic sound system there. We also had custom made Pope shirts for the occasion. If we're anything, it's topical.

Ladystein's big news is that we are starting to record our demo - TOMORROW! I know, it's all so sudden. We are kvelling. And some of us are on vocal rest. More on that later!!
