PHOTO JOURNALSTEIN

Ah. Spring. Well, it's doesn't quite feel like spring yet, but at least one can live with the knowledge that it is, technically, spring. Ah. Ahhh. In honor of this (and because one member of the band kept forgetting to post these photos. she-who-must-not-be-named.), we are posting a photo gallery of some exciting highlights of your typical LADYSTEIN winter season. First, there was some New Year's action at Alana's sister's apt to ring in 2005, hopefully the year of successful beginnings for the Ladies. We became obsessed, on this last evening of 2004, with taking pictures that we lump into the category of "BAND PHOTOS". You will see what we mean. Next, there was our business outing to LA. That was quite the interesting trip o' the winter. Despite the serious nature of our trip, movie stars and what-not, we did manage to put in some time for photos. Serious photos. And last, but not least, Alana's B-day celebration offered some nice photo opportunities as well. And my, did the Ladies look fabulous on that day.

The flyer for our St. Paddy's Day show! Be there next Wednesday!! Posted by Hello

Glamourous Negligence:

So it's been about a month since our last posting. In our defense, February is the shortest month, but we have indeed been negligent. Also, is it just a coincidence that February is the shortest month AND black history month? Whoever was in charge of that was a bigot, and that's all we'll say.
Anyway, we've been very busy the last month preparing and performing our Valentine's Day show, which we hope was enjoyable for everyone who was able to attend. We had fun despite the near fainting of Kate and the howlings of our favorite local drunkard (see below). Then Kate went to Paris, the Academy Awards made Hilary "The Next Karate Kid" Swank a two-time Oscar winner, and before you knew it, February was gone like the fine morning mist.
So here we are in March, and all we can say is: why is it still so friggin cold?!?!?! Anyway, we have been hard at work preparing our St. Paddy's Day show, "LUCK O'the LADYSTEIN!" Yes, we know that Ladystein shows are becoming like Holiday Inn, but it's merely circumstantial. Anyway, there will be new originals, new covers and maybe even some new instruments! So come celebrate some old dude getting all the snakes out of Ireland down at the Apocalypse next Wednesday!
