Grammy nominations, Steve Zissou and Morgan Freeman -- just another Tuesday.
So the Grammy nominations are out. And yet again, Ladystein was shut out of the "Best Polka Album of the Year" award. Well, we'll see you next year, Eddie Blazonczyk's Versatones. Mark our words. We would, however, like to congratulate Loretta Lynn on her myriad nominations. You are one classy lady.
In other news, it has come to our attention that the new Wes Anderson film, "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou," will only be playing in one New York theater (Lincoln Plaza) this Friday. We would like to say that this is both shameful and feeble. That is all.
Also, apparently, Morgan Freeman has been banned from flying. We do hope, however, that he is not banned from driving Miss Daisy, because we need a ride to our next gig.
